If you are moving house please re-register at your new address online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. It will only take a few minutes and you will need your National Insurance Number and date of birth to complete the application.
If you tell us the address where you used to live, this information will be used to remove you from the register where you used to live.
Tell us that someone else has moved out
You can email us and provide the person’s full name and the address they have moved from. We will either be able to automatically delete the person’s registration or we will conduct a review before we cancel their registration.
Tell us that that someone has died
Please email us to let us know the person’s full name and the address where they were registered. If possible, please also provide a copy of their death certificate.
If we do not receive a copy of their death certificate and cannot verify the person’s death using other records, we will conduct a review before we remove them from the electoral register.
