Heatwave collections
When temperatures are forecast to be 28°C and above, our rubbish and recycling collection crews will be starting from 5am to avoid the midday and early afternoon heat.
If your collection has been missed please report it using our online form via our website.

We operate between 7am and 5pm on collection days. We provide a weekly collection of rubbish, recycling and food waste. Please note in warm weather spells (over 30°C) collections will start fro 6am to prevent crews being exposed to higher midday temperatures while undertaking manual tasks.
If you live in a house
Individual houses include multiple households sharing the house, house conversions and flats of up to six properties.
Plastics and other recycling is collected weekly. Garden waste is collected every two weeks and is a chargeable service.

Report a missed collection
Residents reporting missed bin collections, whether online, via the recycling@hounslow.gov.uk email, or via the LBH Contact centre, must do so before 5pm on the day following their scheduled collection.
