As a Council, we have ambitious plans to create a greener, healthier, cleaner, thriving, safer and liveable borough for our communities. We want to create vibrant thriving town centres and neighbourhoods for people to live, work, study and enjoy. We are committed to taking a strong role in mitigating against climate change, economic inequality and access to opportunity. We do this through encouraging good development in the right places with excellent design.
While we want to see the borough evolve and innovate, we must not lose sight of our existing communities and traditions. We want everybody to feel welcomed and to be empowered to have their say on issues which matter to them, to shape our decisions and feel invested in their communities.
We are inviting residents and businesses to get involved in shaping the future of the borough by sharing their views on our latest suite of documents that will work alongside the Local Plan. Whilst these consultation documents are linked there are three separate consultations, reflecting the different stages the consultation documents are at in their preparation.
