Recycle Week is the largest national annual recycling campaign and is a great reminder of the power small actions have in making a big difference!
Now in its 18th year, Recycle Week (20 - 26 September 2021) encourages retailers, brands, waste management companies, trade associations, governments and the media to come together to achieve one goal: encourage more recycling of the right things, more often!
This years theme is ‘Step it Up’. We know that the Climate Crisis affects everyone, so lets work together to actively do something about it, every day, through small but powerful habits - like recycling.
Almost 9 out of 10 of us are already recycling in the UK. But 55% of households still put items in the general rubbish that could be recycled.

Take Action - Recycle More
It takes less energy and fewer emissions to recycle than to make things from scratch, which is why recycling saves a total of 18 million tonnes of CO2 a year in the UK - Wrap.org.uk
