Hounslow residents were encouraged to come together to mark the Coronation of Their Majesties, King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort over the special weekend of community celebrations in May.
Neighbours, friends and families celebrated the landmark event in many different ways, bringing the Coronation festivities to life in the borough.
The Council helped residents to gather and enjoy their own street parties by waiving the fees for road closures during the special May bank holiday weekend. The Council also waived administration and site hire charges for anyone hosting a free community event in Hounslow parks between Saturday 6 and Monday 8 May.
Grants were also available through the Council’s Thriving Communities Fund for up to £1,000 for community events.
