The council offers a service to remove your unwanted vehicle free of charge.
To qualify, your vehicle must be located within the borough and be accessible for collection. Please ensure that you have removed any items you wish to keep from the vehicle.
You will need to complete a form and supply your original V5 (logbook). Send your completed form to the address below. Once received, we hope to have the vehicle removed within 3-4 working days.
Vehicles are disposed of in an environmentally-friendly way.
Vehicles less than 5 years old
If your vehicle was first registered on or after 1 July 2002, we cannot accept it as a surrendered vehicle.
