The addition or removal of street lights
The maintenance of lamp columns, bollards, centre island lamp columns, flashing beacons at zebra crossings, school flashing lights and illuminated sign lights
Street light maintenance frequency
There are eight set night patrol routes. In the summer there is one night patrol (of a certain area of the borough) every week and during the winter there are three patrols every two weeks in different areas of the borough.
Report a street light issue on a housing estate
Report a street light issue directly to the housing services team:

Privately maintained roads: Contact the contractors, landlord or appropriate Housing Association with column location.
Repair times
3 working days.
Defective lamp column in an alleyway - 48hr response (not including weekends).
Vandalised column (inspection cover off, lantern damaged) - Attended within the hour and rectified then as long as there is not a cable fault or cut-out damage in the column.
