Vandalism is an illegal, antisocial activity that creates a negative impression of an area and contributes to people's fear of crime.
If you would like to report any acts of vandalism to Council property, private property or street furniture, please use the contact details below. Alternatively, you contact your local police station.
Vandalism to private property
If your home is vandalised, the council advises you to contact the local police station as soon as possible. Please refer to the Contact section below to find your local police station.
Vandalism to Hounslow Homes property
Every tenant is responsible for stopping vandalism. If your home is vandalised, report the matter to the repairs call centre. However if your home is regularly vandalised, we may house you somewhere else.
Vandalism goes against the conditions of tenancy and any damage through vandalism is a crime. Hounslow Homes will charge you for any vandalism you or a member of your household causes, and the police may prosecute you for any crimes committed. If this happens, you could also lose your tenancy.

Reporting racist or abusive Graffiti
Racist or Abusive Graffiti can be reported to the Graffiti hotline. The Council will undertake to remove this within 24 hours. Graffitti on council street furniture can be reported to the call centre. The Council will aim to remove this within 3 working days.
The Council does not have resources to remove graffiti from private property, but is willing to give advice and provide free graffiti removal kits to local groups.
