This consultation has ended.
Hounslow Council and its partners are working together to develop a single Children and Young People’s Plan for 2007 - 2010. This plan will set out the ways in which we can best provide services to meet the needs of children and young people across Hounslow.
The plan will:
Set out the vision for the development of services over the next 3 years;
Identify the key areas that need to be improved to meet the needs of children and young people;
State what actions will be taken to make sure these improvements happen.
As part of the process for developing the plan we have gathered a lot of information about services that are currently being provided and have identified where there are gaps in provision of services. We have done this by talking to a wide range of people including professionals working with children and young people, community groups and children and young people themselves. The things we have found out from talking to these people have allowed us to come up with emerging priority areas for improvement. It is these emerging priority areas that we want to ask you about now.
It would help us if you could look at these priorities and related challenges and let us know what you think about them. You can do this by accessing this short questionnaire between 27th November and 8th December. The priorities for improvement and related challenges are listed in the questionnaire and you can say whether you agree with each one and make additional comments.
The closing date for the survey is Friday 8th December.
