Hounslow Council

Parking tickets (PCNs)

You may receive a parking ticket (known as a PCN or penalty charge notice) fixed to your vehicle or handed to you by a parking attendant when your vehicle is considered to be parked in contravention of the parking restrictions in place.  In addition specific locations within Hounslow, including bus lanes, are monitored using CCTV.

If we observe a parking contravention or an unauthorised vehicle using the bus lane without a valid reason, then we will send a PCN in the post to the vehicle's registered keeper (as supplied by the DVLA). This will be sent within approximately 14 days of the alleged contravention.

The parking ticket contains important information regarding the reason it has been issued along with details on how to pay or appeal it.

In all cases it is the owner and not the driver of the vehicle who is liable to pay the PCN.

How to pay

  • Online -  Pay a PCN that begins with NJ

  • By phone - call 0333 800 0107 for credit and debit card payments (no extra charges for paying by credit card)

  • By post - by cheque made payable to London Borough of Hounslow (please include your PCN number as reference). Please send your payment to: London Borough of Hounslow Parking Services, PO Box 211, Sheffield S98 1NG
