Feltham residents are being given the chance to find out how they can help make their neighbourhood safer on Monday 16 July.
A community safety action day is being run by the council, police and the local fire brigade. It has been organised to give local people the chance to talk about their own concerns about community safety.
Cllr Ed Mayne, lead member for community safety at the London Borough of Hounslow, said: “We are determined to work together to help make sure people feel safe in their community.
“We want people to come along and let us know the kinds of issues they’re concerned about – anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping, cold-callers – so we know we are working on issues that matter to you.”
The action day will take place on Monday, 16 July, from 2-6pm at the Triangle play area, The Pits (end of Padstow Walk), Feltham.
Activities taking place on the day include:
Talks from the London Fire Brigade
Free micro-chipping for dogs
Treasure hunt
Litter picking
Barbeque
Football sessions with KICKZ
