The council is challenging residents to recycle even more as part of celebrations for this year's national recycle week (18 - 24 June).
If residents need more recycling containers to help them recycle they can come along to one of two roadshows in the borough to pick up recycling containers:
Tuesday 19 June 10am - 2pm - Hounslow High Street, opposite Holy Trinity Church
Thursday 21 June 10am - 2pm - Heston Fairground, New Heston Road
Residents will also be able to pick up free compostable food waste liners to recycle food waste from home.
