Network management

How the traffic flow is managed after a major accident or subsidence

In the event of a major accident the police may close off the road to allow detailed investigation to be carried out and put temporary diversions in place.

In the event of road subsidence when the closure is likely to remain in force for some time we would arrange for diversions to be put in place
