We want residents to send in clips of film footage from smart phones of what it is like to live with Heathrow's planes overhead.
We're raising awareness of the impact of aircraft noise on residents in the borough using social media and have launched a special YouTube channel – Noise Annoys Hounslow.
We want a better Heathrow, not a bigger Heathrow, and have long been concerned about the detrimental effect of aircraft noise.
Night noise from aircraft annoys Hounslow people more than any other aviation-related issue.
Research shows that sleep deprivation and disrupted sleep patterns can increase in the chance of heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes.
All residents need to do is film brief clips that show aircraft overhead – at home, at work, at school, indoors or outdoors, at any time of the day or night, upload the footage to YouTube and let us know the link to the video. We'll share your videos on our new channel: www.youtube.com/user/noiseannoyshounslow/.
You can email the link to: communications@hounslow.gov.uk or let us know via Facebook or Twitter.
