A resident's permit is only valid within the specified zone in which you live, and in resident bays or shared use indicated by signs by the side of the bays.
They are not valid on yellow lines, in business only bays, in disabled bays, in pay and display only bays, at meters, in motorcycle bays (unless being displayed by a motorcycle) or in Hounslow Council car parks.
They only relate to the vehicle whose registration number is shown on the permit and are not transferable.

If you live in the Twickenham parking zone (Zone R), complete a Zone R application form.
Please note: If you're a first time car owner or a new resident of the borough, you cannot park within a controlled parking zone until you have obtained either a permanent or Temporary Parking Permit.

Applications can only be accepted when supported with proof of residency and vehicle ownership.
Note: Please ensure you send copies of your documents and not the originals with your application.
Any documentation sent with your application is non-returnable.
We cannot be held responsible for loss of original documents that are sent to us in error.
As proof of residency, a photocopy of any two of the following listed below - showing your name and address, as provided in part 1 of the application form:
Tenancy agreement
Council tax registration (*see note below)
Utility bill one only (gas/water/electric/landline telephone - issued within the last 3 months)
Electoral register entry (*see note below)
Photo driving licence
* If you tick this box on the application form, we will check the relevant records on your behalf without requiring you to provide any documents. This applies to postal applications only.
As proof of vehicle ownership, a photocopy of your Insurance documents (which must show your name, address and vehicle registration) as provided in part 1 of the application form must be sent along with any one of the following showing your name and address as provided in part 1 of the application form:
Vehicle registration document (full)
Hiring/leasing agreement
Letter from employer (company car)
V11 car tax renewal
If you do not provide the necessary documentation or if your application form is incomplete, there will be a delay in receiving your permit.
If you do not have the necessary documentation you will need to apply for a Temporary Parking Permit.

Any subsequent vehicles will be charged at the third vehicle price. Permits will only be issued for 12 month period at a time. Permits are free for residents living within the Rugby Zone.
Note: an additional £15 administration charge will be applied to any change of permit or re-issue and £20 for lost Permits (excluding Rugby zone permits)
