Eight litter louts who thought they could get away with ignoring their littering fine, have had the amount they must pay increased by almost 80 per cent, after Hounslow Council took them to court.
A new consultation has been published by the government to introduce new measures in order to cut down the noise allowed from night flights at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.
Arctic conditions are predicted to hit London from later today [Thursday] and Hounslow Council has once again ensured that everything is in place to ensure residents are kept safe and well during the severe weather.
