5. Invest £250,000 and work with police and other partners to improve community safety
Crime and the fear of crime are some of the main concerns you have raised with us.
To tackle this effectively we need to work with the police and local community to fight crime at the local level.
To do this we have created five new neighbourhood community safety co-ordinators to work with you and your local community to tackle crime.
These co-ordinators are based in local police stations across the borough so they can work closely with the police and our partners to take action against perpetrators of crime. They will also work with local people to identify local problems so you can be sure they are being tackled.
