There are three area teams of ASB specialists dealing with casework located in our three area offices at East, West and Central. In addition the Neighbourhood Teams at Ivybridge and Brentford deal with case work in their areas.
These teams prioritise action on ASB cases leading to swift and appropriate action to abate ASB.
The team is responsible for the development of community support services to assist in the prevention or deterrence of ASB, and for ensuring the appropriate use of external agencies for support and particular functions including mediation. They also ensure effective liaison with social services, health authorities and other agencies.
The team also employs a Professional Witness whose role it is to:
Witness anti-social behaviour;
Identify perpetrators;
Provide evidence to be used in legal action;
Attend court and provide evidence as necessary.
