From 6 June 2013 , you will be able to bid more often when applying for housing. Properties will be advertised once per week. Adverts will be available from noon on Thursdays for bids, and bidding will close at 4pm every Monday.

Hounslow is a diverse area with a range of different types of housing including owner occupied properties, private rented and social housing, rented from Hounslow Council or a registered social landlord.
Living in the London Borough of Hounslow means life in a flourishing, exciting and developing place. It has excellent transport links, exceptional public services, beautiful parks and green spaces, flourishing schools, first class leisure and cultural facilities, and developing town centres.
With so much to offer it can be difficult for some people, particularly for those on a lower income, to access housing in Hounslow. In this environment, we offer a range of support and options to help you and your family with your housing issues.
In general, demand for affordable homes in the borough far exceeds the number of properties available. Social housing is not the right option for everyone, many people face a long wait for social housing and people with lower housing need may not be re-housed at all.
