Hounslow Council

Family Information Service

The Hounslow Family Information Service provides information, advice and guidance on a range of services, activities and entitlements for families with children and young people aged 0-19 years.

This includes information on:

  • Childcare

  • Starting school

  • Children’s centres

  • Financial assistance for families using childcare

  • Services for children and young people with a disability or special educational need

  • Health services for families

  • Activities for children and young people

  • Parenting support

  • Services, publications, websites, organisations and support groups for families in need of additional assistance and support

Family Services Directory

To find information on any of the above, visit Hounslow’s Family Service Directory, which provides a searchable online listing of services, activities and registered childcare in the borough, in an easy-to-use and accessible way.

We also maintain Young Hounslow, a directory designed by, and for, the borough’s young people to find information on things to do and places to go.

Child protection

Protecting children and young people is everyone's responsibility, so it is important to contact us if you have any concerns about a child being harmed or at risk of harm. Children and their parents may need urgent help.

Please visit  What to do if you are worried about a child for more information.
