The post adoption service is for:
All adopters in Hounslow
Residents of the Borough of Hounslow who have been affected by adoption
Adopted people over the age of 18 who are seeking information about their origins through access to their birth records
The service offers:
Information and advice in a wide range of adoption and permanent fostering issues
Groups for adopters held 4 times a year
An annual summer picnic for adoptive families and their children
Letterbox Service- administering the regular exchange of information between birth families and adopters. Providing individual support to all families where necessary to maintain the contact.
Arranging, supervising and maintaining direct contact arrangements
Counselling to adopted people over the age of 18 who wish to have access to their adoption records
