How do we define low needs?
This is where a person may need advice and support now or over the next six months.
The government’s Fair Access to Care Services eligibility frameworks says that risks will be defined as low when:
There is, or will be, an ability to carry out one or two personal care or domestic routines
Involvement in one or two aspects or work, education or learning cannot or will not be sustained
One or two social support systems and relationships cannot or will not be sustained
One or two family and other social roles and responsibilities cannot or will not be undertaken
