Paper is now collected separately in your new blue paper bag. It will be collected as part of your weekly collection on your normal collection day.
Your blue paper bag has been designed to hold all of the paper together and we hope that this will prevent paper from being blown out of recycling boxes on collection day and improve the street scene.
The bag will act as a lid for your recycling box.
Your bag should be used for all paper including envelopes, magazines and phone directories but not shredded paper.
Shredded paper should be put in your food waste bin.
Please ensure you remove any plastic wrapping before putting paper in your bag.
Note: Your blue bag is for paper only. Cardboard should be placed in your recycling box for collection
Collection of your paper bag
Your paper recycling will be collected weekly along with your recycling box on your normal collection day. Please refer to your collection calendar for specific collection dates.
Please place your paper bag on top of your recycling box and place your bag/box out before 7am in your day of collection. It should be placed at the front boundary of your property, in a place clearly visible from the road (not on the pavement).
