In May 2006 the Mayor published the West London Sub Regional Development Framework (SRDF), which is available for download via the link below. This publication follows after its release in draft for public consultation during 2005. The SRDF brings together a wide range of information about West London, and makes suggestions to boroughs about issues they should address in the preparation of Local Development Frameworks. It also identifies priority areas for the first review of the London Plan.
The SRDF is a non statutory document that sits between the broad policies of the London Plan and their local implementation in the plans and actions of the West London Boroughs. It provides non-statutory guidance, which does not supersede or change the London Plan's policies but provides best planning practice to secure and inform implementation of existing policy.
