Planning Application Maps

It is a legal requirement to submit an Ordnance Survey map showing your property with your planning application. There are three ways in which you can obtain a set of six Ordnance Survey maps for your planning application and these are described below.

The charge for this service is £26. Payment can be made by cash or by cheque made out to "London Borough of Hounslow". If you are paying cash, please do not send it in the post - visit the Civic Centre and pay in person.

Option 1

Post details of your planning application, with your contact address and payment, to the Borough Planning Department. Your maps will be produced within one working day of receipt and returned to you by Second Class post.

Option 2

Contact the Borough Planning Department by post or telephone providing details of your planning application. Your maps will be produced within one working day and made ready for collection.

Option 3

Come to the Borough Planning Reception at The Civic Centre and provide details of your planning application, your contact details and make payment. Your maps will be produced within one working day and either retuned to you by Second Class post or made ready for collection.

Occasionally, between the hours of 8:30 and 12:00 and 14:00 and 16:00, the Borough Planning Department will be able to produce your maps while you wait. For operational reasons, this service is not always available.
