Hounslow Council

School appeals

You may appeal to an independent panel for a place at any Hounslow school which you listed as a preference on your application form.

You may only make one appeal per school, in a single academic year, unless there are changed circumstances.

There is no appeal for nursery, as this is not statutory education.

How do I appeal?

To lodge an appeal, please contact Democratic Services at schoolappeals@hounslow.gov.uk

to request an appeal pack. Completed appeal forms should be returned to

Democratic Services
London Borough of Hounslow
Civic Centre
Lampton Road
Hounslow, TW3 4DN

31 March 2017 for Secondary Appeals

17 May 2017 for Primary Appeals

If you appeal after the deadline, your appeal will still be scheduled, but it may be heard later than those who returned their appeal forms on time.

Appeals already submitted

To check progress for an appeal you have already submitted to us, please contact the democratic services appeals team. To check the progress for an appeal you have already submitted directly to a school, please contact that school.
