16-18 year old students in full time education are entitled to free transport on buses within London.
We consider this sufficient to meet the transport needs of most students of this age range. Transport costs should not prevent students from staying on in post-16 education.
Where a student has a statement of special educational needs, decisions on entitlement to transport assistance will be taken at the time that the placements are agreed.
