Hounslow Council

Secondary school transfer

Children born between 1 September 1998 and 31 August 1999 will be transfering from primary school to secondary school in September 2010.

The transfer to secondary school brochure 2010 gives parents and carers full information on how to apply for a place at a secondary school, and sets out the criteria for admission to Hounslow secondary schools.

If your child lives in Hounslow and you are not applying online, complete the application form (available from any Hounslow primary school or by contacting us directly) and return it to your child’s Hounslow primary school by Tuesday 20 October 2009 or to the address below by Friday 23 October 2009.

Applications received after these dates will be treated as late and will only be considered after places have been allocated to families who applied on time. If your child lives outside Hounslow complete your home LA’s application form and return it to your home LA.

Voluntary aided schools

If you are applying to a voluntary aided (church) school you are required to complete additional forms which you can get from this page (or the schools directly). Please return these forms direct to the school concerned by Friday 23 October 2009.
