School admissions

Your child’s education is extremely important and will lay the foundations for all that comes afterwards.

We look forward to welcoming your child into a local school and to working with you as the parent/carer of one of our pupils.

Online admissions 2009

Parent/carers of children entering secondary school (transfer from year 6 to 7 only) or infant/primary school (to Reception) in 2009 are able to apply online for school places. This system is secure, quick and easy to use, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no risk of your application being lost in the post.

Primary school admission 2009

If your child was born between 1 September 2004 and 31 August 2005 he or she is entitled to a full-time place in a reception class from September 2009.

Secondary school transfer 2009

Applicable to children born between 1 September 1997 and 31 August 1998 who will be transfering from primary school to secondary school in September 2009.

Term time admissions primary and secondary 2008-09

For applicants to a place at a Hounslow infant, junior or primary school after 3 September 2008, for a child who is between 3 and 11 years old.

For applicants to a place at a Hounslow secondary school for a child who is already of secondary school age, between 11 and 16 years old.
