Building a strong, vibrant and united community
The third Hounslow Community Plan sets the vision for the development of Hounslow over the long term.
The plan, which has been prepared by the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP), reflects the efforts of the public, private and voluntary sectors working in partnership to deliver better services and outcomes for our residents.
The plan will act as a framework for all partners in the borough to work together to deliver the central vision of the Community Plan, that by 2017:
‘Hounslow will be a borough that achieves the aspirations of its local community and continues to be proud of its identity. It will be a borough that thrives from a new sense of unity where the community continues to celebrate diversity and build cohesion.’
This is your plan! In preparing this framework for the future, the LSP has engaged with partners across the community and have listened to residents’ views and aspirations for the future of the borough.
In addition to the community plan, five area plans have been developed. These act as mini community plans and reflect the unique needs and aspirations across the areas of the borough. Summaries can be found within the community plan or by reading the full area plans available on the area committees web pages.
