We have produced a document, currently in draft format, that provides guidance and best practice examples for the design of high quality shop fronts.
Once adopted, it will be used when determining planning applications for new shop fronts.
Alongside this document, there are also a number of supporting documents available for download from this page.
In October 2012 we asked for your views on this document and the design objectives outlined in it. We will use your feedback to develop the final document.
Hard copies are available to view at the Civic Centre and at all of the borough libraries.
