In February 2012, we consulted on school admission arrangements for 2013/14 to ensure that the arrangements agreed, meet the needs of the local area.
We consulted with parents and the local community on our proposed admission arrangements which includes the overall procedure and practices of the arrangements, the criteria and supplementary information which is used in deciding on the allocation of school places.
The arrangements also include the planned admission numbers that determine the number of places that can be allocated for each school in each year, and the co-ordinated scheme for both primary and secondary schools.
The co-ordinated schemes enable us to ensure that every parent of a child living in Hounslow, who has applied to a maintained school, is offered a place.
We consulted on all of our schools admission arrangements in the borough which include community primary and secondary schools, voluntary aided schools, foundations and academy schools.
