We have received complaints from residents in Osborne Road, Strafford Road and Grosvenor Road concerning the parking difficulties that are arising.
We received a petition signed by a number of residents requesting the area be considered for a residents' only permit parking scheme to help relieve the pressure on parking and congestion, which they say is caused by various non-residential parking.
We first consulted with residents in the area earlier in the year. The results of this consultation showed that the majority of those who responded were in favour of a scheme. The consultation outcome was considered by the Central Hounslow Area Forum on 13 September, where it was agreed that the proposals be advanced to the next stage, known as the detailed design.
In December, draft design proposals were made available both online and in Hounslow library.
We will make a decision on whether to proceed with the parking scheme at the Central Hounslow Area Forum on 31 January 2013.
