We have developed proposals to improve bus-stopping facilities on route H28 on Wood Lane as follows.
At the northbound bus stop BP3626 near Parkwood Road, a 25 metre long yellow bus stop clearway would be marked out
At the northbound bus stop BP4193 near Musgrave Road, a 25 metre long yellow bus stop clearway would be marked out
At the southbound bus stop BP3653 near Musgrave Road, a 25 metre long yellow bus stop clearway would be marked out
At the northbound bus stop BP3627 near Borough Road, a 25 metre long yellow bus stop clearway would be marked out
Parking would not be allowed at anytime on the clearways. The aim of introducing the clearways is to enable the buses to reach the kerbside more easily and safely. Where appropriate the kerbs near the stops would be modified to help bus passengers. The proposed measures are shown on the attached plans.
The measures would be introduced after results of the consultation are reported to Isleworth and Brentford Area Committee later in the year.
