Some residents from the Grove Park area contacted us to complain about parking difficulties which they say are caused by commuters and holiday makers using Kew Bridge and Chiswick stations.
A number of local businesses have also reported that they are losing trade because their customers are unable to park in the area because the available parking is taken up by commuters.
We consulted with residents over a three week period in July 2009 and again in November 2009.
Out of 3825 consultation leaflets delivered, 1634 replies were received, a 43% response rate. The average response rate from the roads in favour is 51%.

These results were reported to the Chiswick area planning committee on 15 September 2009. The committee will make a decision on this item after a public meeting to discuss the consultation responses.
