Rights of Way Improvement Plan
Under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act, the council must prepare a Public Rights of Way Improvement Plan to meet current and future needs, provide opportunities for exercise and other forms of recreation, and that is accessible to the mobility or visually-impaired.
We are keen to include your views when preparing our improvement plan so we know the best routes and also to understand why others do not make use of the network.
Do you think that there is a problem with dumped rubbish in rural footpaths or overgrown trees in urban alleyways?
How accessible is the network for blind and partially sighted people, or those with mobility problems?
Could your walking / cycling route to school be made easier?
