Supplementary Planning Documents

Hounslow’s draft Planning Obligations and Air Quality supplementary planning documents (SPDs) set out the council’s planning guidance on our approach to negotiating planning obligations arising from development. They also set out technical advice on how we will consider planning applications that could have an impact on air quality.

These documents will form part of Hounslow’s Local Development Framework (LDF) that will replace the Unitary Development Plan over the next 3 years.

Statement of SPD Matters

The statement of SPD matters contains:

  • information relating to the SPD

  • the subject matter

  • the period in which representations can be made

  • the contact name to address your representations

The statement also contains information on the previous community involvement in the preparation of the documents and details of the reports to the area committees which is not a statutory part of the consultation process.

This statement is required under Regulation 17(2)(iii) of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004.
