Proposed 20mph zone, school travel plan and bus stop improvements - Sparrow Farm Drive Area, Feltham
We are proposing to implement a 20mph zone on the residential roads within the boundary of Hounslow Road, The Drive and Carlton Avenue.
For a number of years we have received concerns from residents and the local schools in the Sparrow Farm Drive area over traffic speeds and driver behaviour on these local roads.
The aim is to provide a safer environment for all road users including school children and encourage walking and cycling as an alternative to driving and improve the bus services.
The proposals include traffic calming measures such as road humps, cushions and speed tables.
