We received a petition from a number of residents in Neville Close requesting the extension of the existing waiting restrictions (yellow lines) to prevent access to their drives being blocked.
Residents reported the problems as being caused by non residents, which they said also impacted on ambulances, support workers and other helpers attending to the elderly and disabled residents in the street because of access difficulties.
The petition was reported to our Heston and Cranford Area (Planning) Committee in April 2011 where councillors agreed to consult with residents on whether they wanted the existing yellow line restrictions extended and whether they wanted the nearby Hounslow Town Centre CPZ (permit parking scheme) extended to include Neville Close.
In June 2011 we invited you to have your say on the two options. The decision on whether your road has the existing restriction extended or is included in the town centre CPZ will be based on the majority response from your road.
