We are proposing to improve two Syon Lane bus stops on Route H28:
At the southbound bus stop BP1106, a 25 metre long yellow bus stop clearway would be marked out and a new hardstanding area would be formed
Northbound bus stop BP1107, would be moved 25 metres northwards and a 25 metre long yellow bus stop clearway would be marked out. A new hardstanding area would be formed at the stop
The hardstanding areas for use by bus passengers would be built on the existing parking lay bys and replace space currently available for two parked vehicles.
Parking would not be allowed at anytime on the clearways. The aim of introducing the clearways is to enable the buses to reach the kerbside more easily and safely.

The measures would be introduced after the results of a consultation are reported to the Isleworth & Brentford Area Committee later in the year.
