We are proposing to improve a bus-stopping facility on Route 111 on Cranford Lane, as follows:
A new bus stop would be provided to the east of Springwell Road and a 25 metre long yellow bus stop clearway would be marked out.
The existing westbound bus stop 27902, outside no. 114 Cranford Lane would be closed.
Parking would not be allowed at anytime on the clearway.
The aim of introducing this clearway is to enable the buses to reach the kerbside more easily and safely.
The proposed measure is shown on the bus stop plan, available to download from this page.
The measures would be introduced after the results of this consultation are reported to the Heston & Cranford Area Committee later in the year.
