In March 2008, we consulted with parents, carers and pupils on transport arrangements for children with special educational needs.
September 2008 will see changes to the arrangements for setting up the routes for some pupils.
We proposed the changes to provide a more efficient service by making better use of vehicles and reducing journey time.
We proposed to revise the transport routes using a computerised routing system which is likely to mean changes to your child’s journey including pick-up and drop-off times.
Details of the proposed changes to your child’s transport for September 2009 will be sent to you during the summer term 2009. Other minor changes to routes may be proposed throughout the year and we shall make sure that you are informed of these as they occur.
