We commissioned a piece of research called the Childcare Sufficieny Assessment and asked you for your views on the assessment's findings and recommendations in March 2008.
Under the Childcare Act 2006 it is a duty of all local authorities to secure sufficient childcare in their area, and to conduct assessments to measure the sufficiency of the childcare provision.
