Hounslow Council

Barley Mow Passage environmental improvements

This consultation has ended.

Barley Mow Passage is a lively Chiswick thoroughfare that leads from Prospect Place to Dukes Avenue.

A survey carried out with the residents and occupiers of Barley Mow Passage revealed that not only was the condition of the footways and carriageways considered to be poor but that at the western end there were perceived risks to the public because of conflicts between pedestrians and vehicles.

In an attempt to address these issues the Council has designed a draft proposal for improvements to the layout and surface treatments that best meet the diverse needs of all users of Barley Mow Passage.

Below are consultation documents that describe the proposals and show the proposed layout.

We would be pleased to receive any comments regarding this proposal on the attached sheet by Friday 15th January 2007.

Responses should be sent to the address below.
