Support schools and families to ensure children are fully engaged in their education.

Also offers advice and guidance to parents, carers and schools regarding exclusions. Children permanently excluded from school are supported to return to new education provision.

The EWS also has a responsibility to ensure school age and pre-school children are licensed when they participate in employment and entertainment. It also licenses chaperones looking after children participating in entertainment.

Personal Adviser offers support to 15/16 year olds and guidance on post-16 entry to employment, training and further education.
