Voluntary and community sector

We provide direct support and funding to voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) in the borough.

We respond to issues raised by the voluntary and community sector (VCS), act as a catalyst for community cohesion, engagement, social enterprise, area based development activities and publish useful information and strategies.

We work on various programs such as:

• Community cohesion and prevent

• Community development and regeneration

• Community engagement and empowerment

• Community investment and enterprise

We support voluntary and community organisations through:

• Community information and newsletters

• Events and training

• Helping you to get involved in your community
