Re-affirmation ceremonies are an ideal way for a couple to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other and celebrate a special wedding anniversary with family and friends.
The ceremony is personal and designed and tailored to each individual couple, with readings of choice and you can incorporate and acknowledge children or special people in your lives.
Couples are also welcome to bring along champagne for guests to toast their special day after the ceremony.
Though having no legal standing, the ceremony is a lovely alternative to a religious blessing. You will be presented with a specially designed certificate as a momento.
The ceremony is available to married couples and the only legal requirement is that a marriage certificate should be produced at the time of booking.
Ceremonies are conducted in the Victorian Room, at Hounslow Register Office or may be offered at approved premises within our district. Currently ceremonies are not able to take place in your own home or in the open air.
A registrar from Hounslow will attend to conduct the re-affirmation ceremony. You will need to contact the venue of your choice for availability.
