It is going to take a lot of joint working between community groups, faith groups, schools and individuals for Hounslow to become a Fairtrade borough. Examples of how you can help include:
Gathering information on the shops/catering establishments/workplaces/schools in Hounslow which sell Fairtrade products. If you know of anywhere, please let us know
If any of your local shops or restaurants are not selling Fairtarde products, ask them why not. Talk to them about the benefits of Fairtrade and how they can get involved.
If your workplace does not provide you with the option of Fairtrade, ask why not. The Fairtrade foundation have a range of information on how to change your workplace to Fairtrade.
