Police take domestic violence crime very seriously and have specially trained officers to deal with this area of crime. You can report domestic violence to the police without having to press charges.
Helping an abusive or violent partner
The Domestic Violence Intervention Project based in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham provides a structured group work programme to help men understand why they have used abusive behaviour and how they can work towards constructing respectful relationships with women.
