Harassment is any type of behaviour, usually repeated or persistent, that annoys, alarms, or causes substantial emotional distress in the person it is directed against. It may be caused by prejudice against specific members of society, as in racial harassment, sexual harassment, or harassment on the grounds of sexuality or disability, and includes domestic violence (for the latter, please also refer to this page).
Reporting harassment
Whether you are the victim, witness or third party (this may be a friend or family member), it is important to report cases of harassment. Reports can be made via any of the contacts listed below. You can also report any incidents of racist, homophobic or sexually motivated crimes, and any form of hate crime.
